Time for another product review and I am REALLY loving this one!!
A couple of weeks ago my aesthetician Leah from Leah’s Skin Care told me about a new product she was carrying- the Crystal Peel Bar. Now, I have gone to Leah for 10 years and in my opinion she is the best in NYC, so needless to say, I trust her and her product recommendations. So, I tried it out. After using the bar for 2 weeks, I have to say, this is a 5 star product!
What is it? Well, it is a microdermabrasion exfoliating soap bar that uses corundum crystals (go look it up) to polish away your dull skin to reveal smooth skin…I actually felt like my skin glowed after….if you massage it on your body in brisk circular motions, they say it produces new collagen and I will tell you after I used it, my skin was very very soft. I even used on my feet and elbows…instant softness! I also think you get better results with this bar than the salt based scrubbers we are all used to using. As an FYI… just make sure you wet the bar thoroughly before using in order to soften it up a bit. Remember, you are just scrubbing to remove dead skin not scraping or removing barnacles (well at least I hope not). THIS IS NOT to be used on your face or any other delicate parts if you get my drift…ouchy. So go ahead a scrub a dub dub with the Crystal Peel Bar!
