Swarovski crystals | Lola and Paz : Lifestyle : NYC

A couple of weeks ago I sent smoke signals out to all of my followers- I was desperately in search of the Superga Milano sneaks that are covered with Swarovski crystals. These were a limited edition that Superga launched a couple of years ago. Yes- a couple of years ago, but I still wanted them!!

Since I am on a serious Superga kick, (see my last post here) I wanted theses babies bad! I thought they would give me just enough spice for my upcoming holiday in Mykonos. SO! Grazie mille to my generous follower in Milan for finding them for me!! (Of course, the shoes would be found in the world’s fashion capital!!) While this shoe may be hard to find, there are many new styles and collaborations right now to fill your Superga addiction and desire! Also check out the House of Holland collaboration with Superga. It’s truly a favorite!

Meet Superga Silver & Superga Gold, my new Italian friends from Torino.
These fashionable and comfy shoes have been around since 1913, originally made from leather, they are now made in canvas and a variety of other materials…(see my metallic buddies). My friends have now come back onto the scene, experiencing wild popularity since Ashley and Mary-Kate (Olsen twins), along with Steve Madden, are now at the creative helm. What’s old is new again!

BTW…for you NYers there is a new Superga store right here in NYC at 78 Crosby Street. OR, you can get them from Superga Online (see link below). And, if anyone can find me the Superga Milano (size 39…these have Swarovski crystals on them) …you’ll be my new best friend!!! Or maybe I smell a new DIY project?
